From some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in Oregon, ungrafted and fortunately unaffected by phylloxera so far, this is a wonderful Pinot Noir from a great Willamette Valley vintage. Notes of black cherry fruit, and black pepper spice, with good tannic structure. Made with minimal intervention and native yeast fermentation.
Four vintages running, this is one of our most loved Cabernet Sauvignons, staff and customers alike. Silky smooth and graceful, it exhibits violet, dark fruit, and cherry, with notes of cocoa. WE92/JS94/V94
These are wines we have discovered over time as strong “QPR” (quality/price ratio) performers. They are interesting, often hard to find in the USA, and give our customers the opportunity to enjoy well-priced quality wines without committing to a whole bottle. Of course, whole bottles are available if you prefer, and offer a better value
Made with fruit from the iconic Croft Vineyard, this lovely wine is sleek, smooth and succulent all at once, honeysuckle, stone fruit, citrus, and spice flavors are tinged with hints of jasmine and slate.
This dry Rosé of Provence is crisp, mineral, and has a lovely “garrigue” character, evoking juniper in the high desert. The blend is Grenache/Syrah/Cinsault/Cabernet Sauvignon.
This Pinot Noir was a double gold medal winner at the Oregon Wine Competition. It was aged 18 months in 60% new French oak, and exhibits notes of herbs, blackberry and cherry, baking spice. Aged sufficiently now to mellow out the tannins, it’s very approachable and silky smooth.
A Spanish version of the classic French grape Mourvèdre, this wine from vines older than 100 years is a stellar QPR performer. There is some black pepper spice, cherry and herbal notes upon opening up, and a hint of coffee.
